WFM Shepherds Cottage

 

Preng, Gandarbal District, Kashmir

The WFM Shepherds Cottage is a 5 Room Cottage located in the Preng Village just off the Road which connects Srinagar with Sonamarg and onwards to Ladakh. The Sind River flows close by.

All Rooms have attached Washrooms and are built in Typical Kashmiri style with the interiors reflecting the Local flavour. There is a Chef on the Location who can Cook a vast Range of Meals from traditional Kashmiri to North Indian to Continental. We have Wifi and that makes it a great Location to Work From Mountains.

Things to Do

The Shepherd’s Cottage lies just off the Highway which connects Srinagar in Kashmir with Ladakh via Sonamarg. You can go Hiking or Trekking in the Mountains around. You can go to the Naranag Temple ruins and Naranag is also a base for the Great Lakes Trek and other shorter Treks. You can do Rafting in the Sind River. Sonamarg is a Hour’s drive away and Srinagar is also an Hour away from the Cottage. You can make day visit to both places and the Cottage makes a perfect base to Explore all the parts of Kashmir.
