You can use it as base to explore Pahalgam and further into the Aru Valley, Betaab Valley and Chandanwari. The ancient Martand Temple ruins are less than 20 kms from here and reachable in 30 minutes. In addition you can go for Rafting in the Lidder or go Hiking or Trekking on the main trails out of Pahalgam and around. You can also go Fishing in the Lidder River
