The Brown Dipper House

A Work From Mountains locations right on the banks of the Tirthan River located at the Gateway to the Great Himalayan Park which is a UNESCO designated World Heritage Site. And we now have a New Bridge right in front of our Property which goes over the Tirthan River to the main Road.
The Brown Dipper House is situated in Tirthan valley right in front of the Tirthan River, with easy access to the Riverfront. In total we have 5 rooms with attached washrooms. The sound of the flowing River is ever present and the location great views of the River and the Mountains surrounding the Valley. Its named after the Bird, the Brown Dipper which is found in the area and can be seen diving into the Water to catch insects.
There is a delightful sit-out area outside the Cottage where you can sit and watch the Mountains and the River go by. It also the ideal place to enjoy the Sun. You can even walk down to the River and get your feet wet. And many Bird species can be found around the River which makes it a great area for Birding as well.
We have great Hosts who live right adjacent to the location and they take great care of you like Guests at their own Home. You can even tell them to Cook up some local delicacies and we would highly recommend the local Trout which is sourced from the Trout Farm right across the River.
